Your construction manager as agent will oversee all stages of the project. We’re here to assist clients who may not be well versed in construction or busy general contractors who can't take on additional project management responsibilities. Each project is unique, and Skapa will provide expertise accordingly.
We will monitor project costs and evaluate cost changes. If necessary, we hold parties accountable to maintain cost control.
We can negotiate terms and conditions and ensure compliance of contracts between all parties. Skapa is also available to help select the right subcontractors for the project.
Skapa ensures conformance with material specifications, plans, approvals and performance. If not monitored, defects or poor quality work can occur, which can lead to delays and additional costs even after the project is completed.
We will continually monitor project progress vs. the agreed-upon project schedule. If needed, our team will step in and delegate time-sensitive tasks or hold actionable meetings with appropriate parties to ensure deadlines are met.
Risks can be financial, contractual, operational or environmental. Your advisor will identify and manage project risks caused by internal and external sources. This is a crucial step that is often overlooked. Our expertise ensures risks are managed and mitigated in time.
